Mental health and well-being

We believe that all adults, children and young people are able to develop and enhance their skills and enjoy and thrive in their environments. We know how challenging it can be to achieve this in increasingly pressured and demanding contexts. However, mentally healthy individuals, organisations and communities are far more likely to be equipped to deal with those pressures and challenges, to be motivated, to succeed, to collaborate and to fulfil their potential. This is the foundation of everything we do.

Healthy Minds Toolbox

Are you concerned about the mental health or well-being of adults or children and young people in your organisation? Using the PERMA model (Positive emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishments) we can help develop understanding and practice that will promote healthy minds across your organisation, or for specific groups, for example, mentally healthy staffrooms.

Do you want to develop practice to improve the management of children and young people who require more specific support around mental health and well-being? Do staff need support to understand specific needs and mental health labels and what these mean in practice? We can provide training and support to increase staff knowledge, confidence and skills.
CARE (Coping with Attachment and Relationship Experiences)
New research and neuroscience means that we can now better understand the impact of safe relationships on brain development and how this can impact on functioning. We use this, alongside existing psychological models, to help develop understanding and practice to support children whose relationship experiences have been disrupted.
